October has a way of pulling people together, and across our manufactured home communities, that spirit shows up in meaningful ways.
This season, RHP Properties—the organization behind all Bayshore communities—expanded its long-running partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org, helping teachers give students the tools they need to learn with confidence. It’s the kind of community-centered work that people often appreciate about the best-rated manufactured homes and the neighborhoods built around them.
This year, RHP adopted two classrooms: one in Wisconsin and one in Kentucky. Both schools serve families who live in nearby RHP-managed communities, which makes the support especially personal.
What Is AdoptAClassroom.org?
AdoptAClassroom.org connects supporters with real classrooms across the country so teachers can pick out the supplies their students need most. Instead of sending generic items, the program gives educators a flexible budget they can use on everything from notebooks and art materials to science kits and organizational tools.
It’s a practical way to help schools stretch their resources and create learning spaces that truly work for their students.
Helping Local Students in North Fond du Lac, Wisconsin
This October, RHP supported Horace Mann High School in North Fond du Lac with a $10,000 classroom donation through AdoptAClassroom.org.
The connection to this school runs deep. About 90 students who live in nearby RHP-managed communities attend Horace Mann, so this donation directly supports families who call our neighborhoods home. This includes students from our Green Meadows, Lakeshore Landing, and Lighthouse Pointe communities.
Teachers can choose the supplies that fit their students’ needs, which makes a real difference in day-to-day learning.

Supporting Shepherdsville Elementary in Kentucky
Soon after, another $10,000 donation made its way to Shepherdsville Elementary in Kentucky. This one marked a milestone: our 20th classroom adoption, bringing RHP’s total contributions to schools nationwide to $200,000 over the past five years.
Shepherdsville Elementary serves more than 540 students, including a large special-needs population and many children who benefit from free or reduced lunch programs. These funds will help teachers bring innovative tools and programs to their classrooms across grade levels, from Pre-K to 5th grade.
Roughly 200 students live in the nearby Autumn Leaf and Hickory Acres communities, so this support reaches a big portion of families connected to RHP.
Why This Partnership Matters
Strong schools help entire towns flourish. That’s one of the quieter advantages of community living in places shaped by residents who look out for one another. When companies like RHP invest in classrooms, they’re lifting up families, teachers, and local programs that shape future generations.
It’s also a reflection of what many people appreciate most about their manufactured homes: they sit in communities where involvement is part of everyday life. Families know their neighborhoods contribute to more than the homes themselves—they’re part of something connected.

A Season for Gratitude and Giving
With the holiday season ramping up, RHP’s ongoing AdoptAClassroom.org partnership feels right in step with the season. Each donation sends a clear message: learning thrives when communities care, and small acts of support can create lasting change for students and educators.
As we move deeper into the holidays, that same spirit shows up across RHP communities. Neighbors are already preparing for the Annual Holiday Lighting Contest, a fun tradition where neighborhoods glow a little brighter and three winners in each community receive a rent credit prize.
November also brings Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaways, with communities raffling off full meal baskets to help families celebrate the holiday with less stress and more joy. It all adds to the feeling that this time of year brings people together in ways big and small.
